Astaya Nima

Astaya Nima is devoted to rituals around silk and feminine transformation.

Philosophy

Astaya Nima was created to bring conscious beauty into the world.
We curate authentic vintage silk kimonos from Japan, selected with discernment, integrity, and reverence. Each piece is personally sourced and carefully chosen for its craftsmanship, rarity, and the story embedded in its fabric.
Every kimono carries memory of silent ceremonies, lived moments, and the quiet artistry of another time.

These pieces are not fashion statements.
They are expressions of the inner world, reflections of depth, stillness, strength, and becoming.
Through authentic Japanese silk and intentional curation,
Astaya Nima invites women to wear not just fabric, but presence.

Ritual Line

Silk in motion. Pastel as a language. Ritual as the essence.
Ritual Line is a story told in softness where color becomes the main character.

Signature Line

Inspired by the formal dignity of the Kurotomesode and the quiet grace of the Showa period heirloom silk received as ritual, worn in lineage, echoing vintage wedding pieces and the beauty of the early eras ceremonial kimonos and nagajubans.

Ceremonial Line

This line is devoted not to grand formality, but to the poetry of daily ritual. It draws inspiration from the more casual, commonly worn kimono of Japan called Komon, this garments is not of rank or hierarchy, but of presence, grace, and quiet refinement.
These are the kimonos of lived moments: of tea ceremonies, of morning preparations, of receiving guests, of walking through the day with intention.
They are ceremonial not because of status, but because of spirit.

Men Line

One of a kind. Beautiful artworks and short Haori jackets.Black silk and light summer kurotomesode, alongside selected kimonos crafted with the intricate shibori technique. This line explores masculinity as an aesthetic, ethical, and intellectual category, beyond conventional stereotypes.
